I love Captain Archer. He's awesome. Him and Trip are pretty much the best. I think I cried for a week when Enterprise was canceled (I was only 12, haha). I think that Voyager is probably my favourite as well, especially the last four seasons. I didn't really like Kes, or the Kazon that much. I don't know that I have a favourite Captain. I love Picard, Janeway ( she DOES have great one liners - and I just wrote a paper on Star Trek, and specifically her, for my Women's Studies class), Archer, Sisko. I'm not a huge fan of Kirk though...

Good answer! I loved Archer and Trip. Enterprise had great characters, but the story was a bit dry. And I’m sure it was a very emotional week for you :D And I agree, the Kazon were boring, but I LOVE the borg!

And that’s interesting that you say you don’t like Kirk, most startrek fans like Kirk the most (at least the ones that I’ve spoken to), this is a breath of fresh air to say the least :D

Do you have a favourite Star Trek series? Or Captain?

I like Voyager the best. Janeway isn’t my favourite captain though (despite her classic one liners). Even though Enterprise wasn’t the best series, I still liked Archer as a captain. Either him or Picard.

What do you think of Stargate Universe?

To be honest, I’m not really sure. I’ve only watched the first season. The first half of season 1 was absolutly terrible. The only thing they had going right was math boy. Then they realised ‘Oh this is a stargate spin off, perhaps we should have some kind of alien species in the mix’. So the second half of the season is a little bit better I guess.

It has potential, but it doesn’t scale up to SG1 and Atlantis at all.

It’s just the pre set setting from whatever theme I got. But yes, I did chose it because of browncoats :D

Sorry to chime, but i was outraged as to be reading one of your answered questions to hear that you said somebody said they like Star Wars because of Ja Ja Binks... Who dares to even say that, that's horrid, Ja Ja was a pathetic attempt to relate to (seemingly mental challenged) children. Hmm not really a question then.. whoops, i bend all the rules.

What was the last book you read/are currently reading? What's your favorite book? And because I love to hear about horrible books, what's the worst one you've ever read?

I’m currently reading three books (by this I mean I’m a decent way throuh all of them). Michael Crichton’s ‘Prey’, Jack Campbell’s ‘The lost fleet: Dauntless’ and Holly Scott/Jaimie Duncan’s ‘Stargate SG1: Hydra’.

And the worst one.. I’ve read a lot of terrible books.. The first one that comes to mind is Gary Paulson’s ‘Hatchet’. I had to read that like 3 times in highschool and did not enjoy it at all.

You're a vegetarian? So am I! Are you one for health reasons or are you an animal lover? Personally, I could never dissociate the food on my plate from the dog under the table.

Nice! :D And mainly because animal cruelty, and I was never a huge meat eater anyway (I didn’t like the taste of most meats), so about 4 years ago I just decided to stop eating it all together :) I haven’t doubted my decision since.

sorry. clicking the anon button is habit. But anyways, yeah, good job. I love all the Stargate stuff. Rodney is pretty much the best character ever. I actually went to a Stargate Convention (i live near vancouver) a couple years back and I got to see all the sets and meet Jason Momoa and stuff. He liked my glasses. It made me happy. :)

Oh it’s totally fine :D I agree, Rodney is amazing! And I’m so jealous, there was one a few months ago in Sydney but none of my friends wanted to go and I didn’t have the money for it :( You met Jason Momoa! And he liked your glasses.. that would have made my life complete!
